Last Day of CNY 2010

Just got back into my flat from a tiring but fruitful weekend :-)

Firstly, I met up with Mr Allan Chuah, an ex-colleague from my first company. The main purpose of meeting up was to catch up with him and introduce a new friend to D-zai. Allan just got himself a new EOS 1000D. Hehe. Hence, we spent an hour plus at Starbucks exploring each other’s camera :D

Later at night, I met up with the usual ex-TRW colleagues gang for Lou Sang dinner. We also spent few hours playing poker after that. I did not join them for poker as I prefer to enjoy myself, lying down on Shih Wei’s long and comfortable sofa in the air-conditioned room, cuddle her pro-active puppy (unless he decides to wet me with his saliva) :D

Although I spent most of my time with friends this weekend, I was happy that he got to blend a little more with my family, especially Mom. Mom wanted me to have him at home for lunch so much. I’m glad he agreed :-) And.. he had to gulp down 2 bowls of rice (although Mom’s chicken rice was a little tasteless that day)!

When we reached Singapore, we decided to walk to Mount Faber to wait for the sunset. Actually, we wanted to practise shooting sunrise (for our KK trip) but we went for sunset instead due to time constraints. Pictures will come later.

Reminding myself that I have 3 more days to go before my trip to Kota Kinabalu! I guess I have all things checked, except for few bars of chocolates. Got to start packing tomorrow night!

So, so, so tired today. Enjoyed it nevertheless. Good night! :-)

Work, work, work

Work is piling up. In the office. At home.

Ahh.. I know I will finally complete them in the end but,..

On the other hand, I am counting down to my next holiday! Well, this won’t be a relaxing holiday but I need to get out of the office! Counting down to the day I’m leaving on a jet plane.. 8 more days to conquer Mount Kinabalu!

My Daily Musical Mood #6

The theme song from 下一站, 幸福 (Autumn’s Concerto)..

丁噹 – 我愛他

Hmm.. don’t really get what happened to the guy in the music video though :p

In your opinion..

When is a man considered most good looking?

I was watching the first episode of another Taiwanese drama called, 下一站, 幸福 (Thanks to Chin Pei Yee for introducing me to one Taiwanese drama after another; I got hooked; And now I’m searching one myself).
I felt that the answer to the line above (in episode 1) was so true!
I decided to take a sneak peek at the drama because it stars Vanness Wu (wanted to see if his acting has improved but sadly, not really).

Oh, back to the question. And the line was.. 认真的男人是最帅的*!
Not when he’s dressed at his best or what car does he drive but the maturity in him and when he’s serious at work.

* A man is considered most good looking when he’s serious

My Daily Musical Mood #5

It has been a while since I’ve last blogged early in the morning. I was awoken by the crying baby in my house this morning.

Having the mood to listen to some songs, I decided to listen to Jackie Cheung’s songs. I saw the movie, 72 Tenants yesterday. We were supposed to watch 14 Blades but I guess the movie isn’t out yet in Cathay Singapore. So.. in 72 Tenants, Jackie Cheung is one of the lead actors and he kinda did a rendition of his popular song, 愛是永恆 (love is eternal).
